Wer in einer Fernbeziehung lebt, dem ist das Mitleid seines Umfelds sicher. »Viele Leute sagen: Das könnte ich nie! – aber irgendwann kommt man einfach in so eine Situation und muss sich mit ihr arrangieren«, sagt Christine Koller, Autorin des Ratgebers »Liebe auf Distanz«. Koller lebt selbst seit mehr als elf Jahren in einer Fernbeziehung. Pessimisten, die diese Beziehungsform von Anfang an zum Scheitern verurteilen, widerspricht sie vehement: »Ob die Beziehung auf die Distanz funktioniert, hängt von der Persönlichkeit der beiden Partner ab. Für freiheitsliebende Menschen ist diese Beziehungsform manchmal sogar die bessere», sagt die Journalistin aus München.
