Binationale Familien und Partnerschaften 2004 wurden in Deutschland 56.238 Eheschließungen mit Auslandsbeteiligung durchgeführt. Dabei haben die meisten deutschen Frauen Männer aus der Türkei und europäischen Ländern geheiratet. Die deutschen Männer hingegen haben sich für Frauen aus Polen und anderen osteuropäischen Ländern entschieden.
